General Submission Information


Before submitting, you need to create an account the platform. This will guarantee full access to your submissions should you wish to modify them afterwards. In order to open an account, please choose "Create account" on the "Login" drop-down menu at the top right corner or click on "Account Creation" on the left side menu.


All abstract submissions must be received via the workshop website on or before Friday, May 31 Thursday, June 20, 2019. If an abstract is accepted, one of the authors of the paper must register by August 18, 2019 and give a presentation at the workshop. If these wo requirements are met, a full manuscript can be submitted for peer review through the workshop website to be published in the conference proceedings. All submissions must be written in clear English. Further instructions, templates and examples are provided below.


Abstract Requirements


Abstracts must consist of at least 250 words and submitted in text-only format through the online form. An option to upload additional material such as figures, etc. is also offered. If you are including figures, please number them in the text and add a caption for each of them at the end of the abstract text. Accepted abstracts will be included in the official technical program only if one of the authors registers by August 15, 2019.


Proceedings Paper Requirements


The proceedings papers will be published on IEEE Xplore and arXiv. In order to qualify for submission, a presentation of its content must have been given during the RFI 2019 Workshop. All full length proceedings papers for the RFI 2016 workshop must be submitted in the two-column format specified in the templates below. Papers must be between two and six pages in length, including text, references, and figures. Please do not put page numbers on the submissions. Appropriate page numbers will be added to the manuscripts when the conference proceedings are assembled.


Submissions will be peer-reviewed and if accepted, an IEEE copyright form will have to be signed. The deadline for submitting proceedings papers is October 27, 2019. The following templates and examples for the proceedings paper are available:
